Therapy at Tidyminds is specialist, neuro-affirming, and paced to support regulation — not rush outcomes. Fees reflect the preparation, clinical responsibility, and care involved in this work, particularly for trauma-aware and couples therapy.
Fees (Pricing)
Individual Therapy
Session type

Standard individual session $180
Duration: 50 minutes
Extended sessions may be recommended for neurodivdergent clients who need more settling time, trauma or schema-focused work, EMDR, or deeper processing sessions.
Couples Therapy
Session type

Couples therapy $260
Duration: 75minutes
Couples’ sessions are longer by design to allow time for regulation, hearing both partners fully, and practising repair in session.
Why session lengths differ
Couples therapy involves holding two nervous systems, managing live interaction, and supporting repair in real time. Individual therapy usually requires less in-session regulation time. Session lengths reflect clinical reality — not hierarchy or value.
Funding & Rebates
Medicare
- Medicare does not provide rebates for couples therapy.
- Medicare rebates for individual therapy may apply only if you are referred to a Medicare-registered provider (where applicable).
Private Health Insurance
- Rebates may be available depending on your fund and item limits. Please check directly with your insurer.
NDIS
- Therapy may be funded through the NDIS where it aligns with plan goals. Funding is assessed case by case and depends on individual plans.
Appointments & Cancellations
Sessions are reserved specifically for you. Please arrive on time to make full use of your session.
Cancellation Policy
- 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule.
- Late cancellations or non-attendance are charged at the full session fee.
Fee review policy
Fees are reviewed annually to ensure sustainability of the practice and the capacity to provide high-quality care. If fees change, existing clients are given reasonable notice, changes are communicated clearly, and no retrospective increases apply.
